The Millennium Resort Scottsdale, McCormick Ranch, which was known as the Regal McCormick Ranch Resort and Villas. The Millennium Resort has recently completed renovations as part of a $70 million improvement program. The Millennium Resort Scottsdale, McCormick Ranch is located within one of Arizona's premier resort communities and is Scottsdale's only lakeside boutique resort. The resort offers 125 deluxe guestrooms with Southwestern charm and decor in addition to 51 two and three-bedroom Villas, each individually and uniquely decorated. Millennium Resort is the ideal headquarters from which to explore Scottsdale. Golf, tennis and sailing are readily available; and the resort services staff will be pleased to arrange horseback riding, desert jeep tours or cowboy cookouts for you.

McCormick Ranch Golf Club

Designed by Desmond Muirhead and possibly one of his last and best efforts. This course is still one of the most popular in the Scottsdale area and over the past several years improvements have been made to the Clubhouse to accommodate the many tournaments that take place here. In fact if you are contemplating a group golf event the staff here have the process down pat! There are two 18 hole courses the Palm and the Pine. Palm has water hazards on 10 holes and the spectacular, award winning island fairway at number 9. The longest hole is number 16 par 5 and has a dogleg on its 564 yards. Pine has water on 6 holes and another half dozen dog legs. The 7th , which is a par 5, 599 yard curving dogleg, requires accuracy to bring your ball safely between 2 bunkers situated in the landing area. If that was not enough, water is placed all down the left of the fairway.. 15 is an exceptional challenge. 470 yards, par 4. Another dogleg that you have to carry over water and a fairway that widens and narrows considerably. The green sits surrounded by water and with quite a slope. Possibly Scottsdale's tightest par 4.
