Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club has been
selected as one of the Top 100 Modern Courses in America by GolfWeek
Magazine which has just published their seventh annual list
of America's Best Classical and Modern Golf Courses for 2006.
The award-winning course was listed as #23 in America among over
10,000 "modern courses" which includes all courses built
since 1960. Paa-Ko Ridge was also selected by the publication
as the #1 Public Access Course in New Mexico. Last year, Paa-Ko
Ridge debuted on the Top 100 Modern list at #69. The big jump
this year places Paa-Ko ahead of numerous well known courses as
well as several great Southwest courses such as, Troon North,
Grayhawk,The Broadmoor, and many others. The magazine uses 10
steps in its rating criteria of America's Best 2002, including
"quality of feature shaping, natural setting and overall
land plan, variety and memorability of the holes, and basic quality
of conditioning."
Paa-Ko Ridge was also listed among America's
Top 100 Public Golf Courses in a new book recently published by
Powers Golf and written by Joe Mackin and Rick Lipsey of
Sports Illustrated.
Other awards on the Paa-Ko Ridge mantle include "#1 Best New Course in America" and "#1 in New Mexico" (Golf Digest Jan, May, 2001); "Top Ten New Courses You Can Play" (GOLF Magazine March, 2001); "Top 10 Desert Courses in America" (Travel and Leisure Golf Nov/Dec, 2001); "Top 40 Daily Fee Courses in America" (Golf and Travel August, 2001); #4 on "America's 100 Best Courses for $100 or Less" (Travel and Leisure Golf March/April, 2002, and one of the "10 Best Bargains in Golf" (Athlon Sports Golf Annual, 2002). Paa-Ko Ridge is an 18 hole privately owned
public golf course designed by award-winning architect, Ken Dye,
with an additional 9 holes currently under construction. The course
is situated on the east side of the Sandia Mountains, at elevations
ranging from 6,500 to 7,000 feet. Surrounded by the mountainous
terrain and vegetation of the New Mexican high desert, the layout
of the course features landing areas and greens separated by arroyos,
native vegetation, and rock outcroppings. Each hole in the upscale
course has five sets of tees allowing play from 5,702 to 7,562
yards, and many of the holes play downhill through ponderosa,
pinon and juniper.

Santa
Ana Golf Club is the award winning
sister course to Twin Warriors Golf Club. The course is ranked
in the prestigious top 100 in the country by both Golf Digest
and Golfweek.
The Santa Ana Golf Club is a daily fee golf course - only
one fee for the entire day! The golf course offers the glorious
natural splendor of the Santa Ana Pueblo. Located north of Albuquerque,
NM and woven through the desert along the Rio Grande, it is surrounded
by the grandeur of the Jemez Mountains to the west, the Sangre
de Cristos to the north, and the Sandia Mountains immediately
east, offering a spectacular view of the 10,000-foot Sandia Peak.
Native grasses, subtle mounding and eight crystal-blue lakes will
inspire and challenge you to play your best.
Twin Warriors Golf Club is eighteen holes
of high desert, championship golf routed in and around 20 ancient
cultural sites of previous habitation and activity. The course
has beautiful grassy knolls and ridges dotted with Juniper and
Pinon Pine. Wonderful dry washes known as arroyo's and eroded
land features, along with the sacred butte known as Tuyuna or
"Snakehead" complete a picture framed by spectacular
views of the Sandia Mountains.
