You'll enjoy a 27-hole championship links-style
golf course, five sets of tees on every hole, play from 5,500
yards to 7,400 yards (depending on which tee you play from), a
22,000-square-foot Club House, eight lakes, a full-service Pro
Shop, excellent practice facilities, hospitality quarters, and
a four-star restaurant, a casual bar and grille.
Santa Ana Golf Club is the award winning sister course to Twin
Warriors Golf Club. The course is ranked in the prestigious top
100 in the country by both Golf Digest and Golfweek. The Club
is a daily fee golf course - only one fee for the entire day!
It offers the glorious natural splendor of the Santa Ana Pueblo.
Located just north of Albuquerque, NM and woven through the desert
along the Rio Grande, it is surrounded by the grandeur of the
Jemez Mountains to the west, the Sangre de Cristos to the north,
and the Sandia Mountains immediately east, offering a spectacular
view of the 10,000-foot Sandia Peak. Native grasses, subtle mounding
and eight crystal-blue lakes will inspire and challenge you to
play your best.
Santa Ana Golf Corporation was founded in 1990. Originally a joint
venture between the Valle Grande Partnership and the Pueblo of
Santa Ana. Ken Killian was selected as the golf course architect
primarily because of his previous work with Tuckaway (PGA Tour
Site) and Kemper Lakes (PGA Championship). Ken's directive was
to design a links-style, friendly golf course that not only appealed
to the average golfer, but also could compete for a future USGA,
LPGA, or even PGA Tour Event.
At Prairie Star, you'll be treated to a
stunning starry view matched only by our four-star cuisine. Take
in the majestic views of the Sandia Mountains as you sample our
award winning southwestern style food prepared by expert chefs.
Twin Warriors Golf Club is eighteen holes of high desert, championship golf routed in and around 20 ancient cultural sites of previous habitation and activity. The course has beautiful grassy knolls and ridges dotted with Juniper and Pinon Pine. Wonderful dry washes known as arroyo's and eroded land features, along with the sacred butte known as Tuyuna or "Snakehead" complete a picture framed by spectacular views of the Sandia Mountains.
Paa-Ko Ridge Golf Club
has been selected as one of the Top 100 Modern Courses in America
by GolfWeek Magazine which has just published their seventh
annual list of America's Best Classical and Modern Golf Courses
for 2006. The award-winning course was listed as #23 in America
among over 10,000 "modern courses" which includes all
courses built since 1960. Paa-Ko Ridge was also selected by the
publication as the #1 Public Access Course in New Mexico.
