Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort and Lookout Golf Course.

It all began in 1976 when noted Phoenix developer Bob Gosnell built the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort on 16th Street. The site was originally an old mining settlement and a ranch.

The resort and sister resort Tapatio Cliffs is like a Spanish-Mediterranean village nestled into the base of the dramatic Phoenix mountain ranges with a vast array of restaurants, recreational facilities and personal services. Along with luxury all-suite accommodations and extensive meeting facilities, indoor and outdoor activities include championship golf, tennis, hiking, jogging, bicycle riding, swimming, basketball, horseshoes, full-service spas and executive fitness centres.

Between the two resorts there are7 distinctive theme dining establishments, ranging from Southwestern and authentic Mexican fare to regional American cuisine. In addition to carefully prepared entrées, frosty drinks, quality service and panoramic views, each restaurant provides live entertainment nightly to create a memorable dining experience.

When it's time to end an active day, guests can relax in a spacious, two-room suite with one bedroom and a seperate living room area, fully stocked refrigerated mini-bar with wet bar and cable television.

Spectacular water features are an integral part of a stay at each of the mountainside resorts. At the Squaw Peak Resort, Hole-in-the-Wall River Ranch features nine acres of water fun, including a half-mile lazy river for tubing and a 130-foot slide known as Slippery Rock Slide. A beautiful lagoon pool with a 10-foot waterfall offers a relaxing ambiance while a sports pool entertains the more active.
